Graph Tech “Cort’s” Signature Guitar (March 16, 2011)
Graph Tech “Cort’s” Signature Guitar

DELTA, B.C., March 16, 2011 Graph Tech Guitar Labs, the world’s largest guitar nut and saddle manufacturer is excited to announce that Cort Guitar’s collaboration with The Scorpion’s Matthias Jabs Signature guitar includes TUSQ XL.

As one of the largest guitar manufacturers in the world, Cort Guitars is renown in the industry for its ability to produce great guitars with an emphasis on player needs.  Their alliance with one of rock’s best guitarists, Matthias Jabs of The Scorpions reflects Cort’s understanding of what is required for a guitar to perform under extreme conditions and produced not just one, but two Signature Guitars.

Which is why it was a natural fit to equip both the
Matthias Jabs Signature Series Guitars, Garage 1 and Garage 2 with the high performing TUSQ XL nut.

TUSQ XL is designed to enhance guitar performance and is specially formulated to bring out the hidden harmonics and richness in every note. Precision engineered, TUSQ XL is permanently lubricated with PTFE to improve the tuning performance of the guitar.

“Although the nut is a small component on the guitar, its significance far outweighs its size.  A bad nut can bind and inconsistently transfer the guitar’s sound.  The Garage 1 and 2 guitars required a high performing nut, and
TUSQ XL delivered what it promised,” says Issac Kwon, Product Manager, Cort Guitars.

“I am so impressed with the Cort line of guitars in the past few years, they have really done a great job on not only the designs of their guitars, but also the performance, right down to the smallest of details. We are very happy to be able to contribute to the outstanding performance of Cort’s Mattias Jabs Garage series of guitars with our
TUSQ XL nuts,” says Dave Dunwoodie, President, Graph Tech.

Along with the Matthias Jabs Signature Guitar, Cort also features Graph Tech’s TUSQ nuts on their line of
G-Custom and G260 guitars.  They also use Graph Tech’s Nubone nuts on their line of CR280, CR250, CR200, M-Custom, M600, M600 T, M520, Yorktown, Yorktown-BV, Source and Source-BV guitars.
